[GPSL-Tradingpost] FS: Full sized Hard Chromed 9mm Major Open gun from Sailors Custom

All, I have a 5" 9mm Major Open gun for sale... With all the good parts, built by Jim Anglin of Sailors Custom.  It's a 5" non poppeled STI 9mm open gun, I'm the
second owner, first owner, put 1000 rounds thru it, just to break it in and
then put it in his safe.


- Caspian Slide (lightened)

- snakebellied top of slide (middle flat)- Storm Lake threaded Barrel

- 7 port cone comp - set screwed to prevent rotation

- Hard Chromed - slide, frame, comp, external accessories

- 6 MOA cmore in grey

- SVI Trigger with short curved insert (silver on both)

- Shooters Connection mount with blast shield

- Custom racking lever with setscrew and ball detent

- Svensen thumb shield safeties- Ed Brown beavertail - pinned and can be removed

- Dawson Ice (silver)

- Thumb rest as an integral part of the slide stop - very nice job of welding up a thumb rest on the slide stop- Drilled mag release with no button

- Black grip - stippled

 

Only one blem on the gun, there is a mark on the top of
the comp, right at the back of the large port, about 1/8" on the edge of
the port, dunno what it was from, but effects nothing.

 

I have no magazines with it.

 

Here are pictures (before final finish and prior to the final comp selection and trigger bar
change)

 

I've only shot probably 20 rounds thru it before my 2
open guns were done.  

 

Load are pretty simple.

7.8gr of True Blue at 1.175 OAL behind 124/125gr JPH (MG
or Zero) 7.0gr of Win 248 same OAL, 7.1gr of Win Autocomp same OAL

One note, I had swapped a med curved insert into it and I'm not going to swap it back until I know it's sold cuz I simply don't want to take it apart just to do that.  But you can't have the Med curved insert, it will be replaced with a short curved at sale
